Featuring the artists

Anders Ramm Bråten  a 25 year old London-based graphic designer and artist, hailing from the city of Oslo, Norway. He writes: ‘Having had an interest and passion for the craft of illustration from an early age, I’ve always found myself the most in sync when drawing. I started to spread cutouts of my illustrations throughout the cities of Oslo and London in 2021, under the moniker of “Beessoh”, which is an ongoing homage to Sagene, my all-time favourite borough of Oslo. If you ever plan to go there, let me know. These “Beessoh”-endeavours have led me to connect with other like minded individuals, and to my enjoyment the moniker keeps on working its magic with every piece I hang up. This is a more of a stationary edition, though, and I hope you enjoy it. ‘ 

Artem Spivak a multidisciplinary award-winning creative with previous exhibitions at Saatchi Gallery, Manhattan Arts International, Taiwan Contemporary Art Association and more. The artist explores humans’ individual and collective experiences in this world and their relations with its qualities and concepts. 

Zoetica Ebb  Zoetica Ebb is a London-based multimedia artist whose award-winning Alien Botany™ series explores the human capacity for adaptation through the eyes of a lifelong immigrant. In her work, she challenges ideas of what is natural and looks to the potential of our genetic alphabet in an imagined future among the stars. Ebb’s art book, Chimeric Herbarium, contains the complete Alien Botany art archive and a record of the new forms these plants have taken in the years since this infectious collection was discovered on Earth.

Zoetica Ebb’s work has been featured in LA Weekly, G4TV, Gizmodo, Hyperallergic and many others. Years of migration have led her to embrace alienation as a valuable chosen state; her work speaks to our boundless capacity for transformation and survival in the face of impossible odds.

Kristy Campbell is an Artist, Writer, and Educator based in the UK, currently completing a PhD in Education at the IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society.

Following the completion of a PGCHE (Art, Design, Architecture and Media) in 2019 and an MA in Fine Art in 2014, Campbell has exhibited throughout the UK and internationally. Of late, venues include The Bargehouse @ Oxo Tower Wharf (London, UK), Thought Foundation (Birtley, UK), Northern Quarters Interiors Festival (Newcastle, UK), Terre Verte Gallery (Cornwall, UK), and Somerset House and Guy’s Hospital at King’s College (London, UK). She has also completed two artist residencies: the BLOC CultureLAB residency at Ipswich County Library (2018), and solo project ‘Hesitation Forms’ at the Barber Shop Residency Space, Norwich, UK (2017).

Fascinated by the notion of the portable artwork, Campbell has minimised scale to maximise impact. Her artwork can now be found on the covers of Boiler House Press’s 2019 Fiction collection, and Guillemot Press’s publication ‘Godiva’ by Cathy Galvin. She was also commissioned for the cover of STOP TRYING TO BE FANTASTIC by writer Molly Naylor, and for the 2023 IOE Impact Stories publication.

This practice looks to convey the fluid ambiguity of meaning, manifesting in projects that derive from typographic forms. Her abstract-minimalist designs stem from research on Deconstruction and Deconstructivism, and lately form a growing collection titled 'Semi-Published'.

Richard Marshall paints on canvas and cardboard using acrylic. 

 Zuzanna Bielen comes from Poland and studies in the UK. As a student of languages/philosophy/cinema/education, music and drawing save her from the anxieties of overthinking. She feels most comfortable singing "sad songs" and rap, which is quite confusing and on the night will be singing songs of Polish drama and assorted other songs.

Hugo Max regularly accompanies silent films with live improvisation on viola and piano at Leicester Square’s Prince Charles Cinema. He has been a visiting lecturer on silent film improvisation and Expressionist music, painting and film at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and has presented musical improvisation performances and workshops at the Ashmolean Museum, Fusion Arts and Magdalen College, Oxford where he was an Instrumental Music Scholar. He has performed with orchestras and chamber ensembles at the Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room and was concertmaster of Oxford University Philharmonic Orchestra and Oxford Baroque Players. Hugo graduated from Magdalen College in 2023 with a degree in Fine Art.Hugo is the author of two books, The Dissonance Book and The Stanley Series.
